Position: English Native Speaking Legal Proofreader

Job description:
1. To check and edit translations of English legal documents on PRC law and practice;
2. To polish the English translations of Chinese legislation and commercial contracts;
3. To assist with the editing and coordination of our marketing materials;
4. To provide assistance to the lawyers and paralegals.

Qualifications:
1. LLB or LLM from a reputable university;
2. English native speaker, with strong written and verbal language skills is a must, fluent Mandarin is a plus;
3. Previous experience as a legal practitioner or legal translator is a plus;
4. Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, strong sense of responsibility and excellent communication skills.

Previous China legal experience is a plus.
